BREE WRISTERS
Painting has been Bree's passion since her early years. When her parents gave her free rein to paint her room, she started painting murals. Over time, her interests gravitated toward teaching others how to paint as well as continuing to paint murals on a large scale.
Bree has an undergraduate degree, a BS in Pre-Occupational Therapy from Baylor University, a Master’s degree in teaching from studies at the University of Texas at Arlington combined with studies at La Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
While in college, she continued to pursue her love of art, selling her pieces in small venues, cafes, and boutiques. After graduation, she moved to Spain, teaching while studying the language and the arts.
Upon returning from Spain, she taught Spanish and art to students in her native Texas while continuing to pursue her own painting, creating unique art works for her community and other venues.
In 2008, her 'work your passion' desire turned to reality when she became a full-time muralist for her own company, BREE The Mural Girl LLC. And again in 2016 as she opened her first studio, BRUSH. BRUSH offers painting classes to all ages and skill level with a specific emphasis on children with special needs.
Bree truly loves to keep art alive in all of our lives!
